I can't imagine what is going on in your stomach and head. Rememberances of 911, me too from the perspective of being away from you and wondering. My stomach is turning flip flops and my nerves are a bit shingled this morning. Called your Dad and let him know I heard from you, called Karen also and she was just reading your email. Lots of love and prayers are coning your way and Larry's. Keep me posted either on the blog or email that you both are doing okay. Stay healthy and alert in your travels. Mom

Hey Sweetie. I thought of you and Larry immediately upon hearing the news. So glad to hear you are OK, well, you know, safe. LOL Love you lots.

I'm glad both you and Larry are okay. Just don't let any of the Virgo 'I wasn't there' guilt settle in too deeply and get comfy (trust.)
I am an American Indian and a historian and journalist in Flagstaff, Arizona, and I recently returned from London after doing research on American Indians in England. I watched with horror as the news of the London bombings unfolded yesterday, and I was stunned. London is one of my favorite cities in the world - so rich with history and interesting and friendly people. I was so moved to see older people making their way to evacuation sites, obviously remembering the terror of WWII, and showing tremendous strength of character. Americans have never known the dreadful experiences of war that the English have known - a fact that, I believe, has contributed greatly to GWB's pursuit of this irrational war in Iraq. My heart goes out to you all, and I can assure you, there are many, many Americans here who feel the same way.
I wonder how you all feel about Tony Blair's decision to back America in the Middle East conquest?
